The bit you have listed will basically slowly go through the granite and basically after going through you'll have a little granite core left over in the bit, and a smooth edged 1/2" hole. Dec 15, 2005· Instead of drilling holes in the underside I just used a silicone sealant to hold the dishwasher tight to the underside of the granite. Everything is now very stable. If I ever need to remove the dishwasher all I have to do is break the seal with an Exacto knife.
